Think jazz, think modern classical music, think experimental, think cross-over and definitely think about August Rosenbaum. The Danish pianist, composer and songwriter is all that and more. He recently cooperated with Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth fame on a score for the Royal Danish Ballet, participated in the 2013 Red Bull Music Academy, performed with MØ at Glastonbury and Roskilde 2016 and also worked with artists like Rhye, Nils Frahm and Robin Hannibal. His 2014 album Heights was nominated for the Nordic Music Prize and a new one should arrive soon on Scandinavian label Tambourhinoceros.
