There's no lack of remarkable musicians and interesting characters in Iceland. Take David Berndsen for instance, he's a bearded pop icon in his home country who's known for his obsession with all things eighties. Even though Soft Cell, OMD, Yazoo, Visage, the Human League and Ultravox have collectively been swept under the rug of musical history, they still have one hardcore fan left in Berndsen. His love for this particular period is seen in everything he does, from the music he creates, to the outfits he wears on stage, to his music videos. He's released two records so far, Lover In The Dark (2012, released in Iceland, Germany, Netherlands and Japan) and Planet Earth (2013).
