Rock n' roll is alive and kicking in the lowlands and Black Bottle Riot are here to prove it. The four-piece from Nijmegen was raised on the blues, country and classic rock. This musical upbringing turned them into a band worthy of being the heirs of classic blues-rock bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band, The Red Devils and Thin Lizzy. After the release of their self-titled debut album, this tight live band rocked the nails out of every stage and the pegs out of every festival tent. Their follow-up, Soul In Exile was recorded in total isolation in wintery Normandy. Released in November, the nine songs have a more intense, dark and raw sound than the ones on their debut album, but also features some euphoric juke joint party anthems.
