Black Country, New Road are from Cambridge and sound like a proper filthy juggernaut of a band, a real experience to behold. At times, colossal metal riffs mangle with frenetic jazz freak-outs; occasionally film noir string motifs are motored into the urgent present with a water-tight rhythm section adding that post-rock feel.
