Blaenavon has a remarkable mature sound for a band consisting of teenagers. This three-piece from Hampshire has an average age of 17 and has to ask one of their parents to drive them to their gigs. One of their mothers even designs their clothes and stage props! ParadYse, one of the most exciting new labels in the UK, released their first EP KOSO. It shows that these very young men have been influenced both by The Maccabees and Jeff Buckley, but they still managed to give their sound a twist of its own.
