Błoto was born accidentally when the Wrocław-based EABS sextet wanted to jam as a smaller unit. They released two albums in 2020, followed by ‘Acids and Bases’ early 2021. The music is deeply rooted in brutal hip-hop grooves, referring loosely to the 90s. Dirty and uncompromising, this music's strength lies in the drums and bass. It also captures the atmosphere of the times: a period of climate change, distinct social divisions, hate speech, growing nationalism, police brutality, nepotism and the dismantling of legal state structures.
