Brokenchord is a post-punk, krautrock and psychedelia project from Vilnius, Lithuania. Ernestas Kaušylas works out of a studio in a former Vilnius prison, creating long tracks of looped layers, noise, and repetition. Live, he is a one-man reconstruction: part live band, part sound system, part controlled collapse. Looping guitar, post-punk rhythms that are pitched and screwed, vocals processed, and structures reshaped in real time into raw and unstable mutations. With his third album, Lima Echo Crack!, out on 6 July 2026, he is touring Europe, Australia and China.
