Califato 3⁄4 is a band from Andalusia, Spain, whose songs blend musical tradition with modern genres such as rock, electronic music, and punk. They have described their style as futuristic folklore. Their songs have a strong Andalusian identity, reinventing flamenco culture and idiosyncrasies from a perspective that is both respectful and irreverent. Their lyrics, as well as the song titles, are written in Êttandâ pal andalûh, a stylized Andalusian dialect. Ideas that were outlined in a manifesto published by the group.
