Carla Prata is a 21 year-old Angolan-Portuguese R&B artist, influenced by the crossover points between UK hip hop, afrobeat and contemporary R&B. She counts Frank Ocean and The Weeknd as inspiration, and is recognised for her open and empowering sexual lyrics, captivating her LGBTQ+ community. Born in Brixton, she moved to Angola as a teenager, and found her footing in the native Kizomba genre. Back in London, her debut EP 'Roots' caught the attention of Colors Studios. Now Prata is signed to Sony and gearing up for second album 'Sex Tape'.
