Cartiez started out in hip hop groups Lefensmannen and the ground-breaking New Wave collective, next to current Dutch hip hop and pop stars Ronnie Flex and Lil' Kleine. Now he has launched his solo career as one of the most promising pop artists from the current New Wave. His album is released by hugely popular Dutch hip hop label Top Notch, Mojo takes care of his bookings and the radio plays his singles. A tour opening for De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig will put Cartiez even more in the spotlight.
