Despite their age creative minds Jan Verstraeten (singer-guitarist, '89) and Joris De Bock (percussion, '88) have been active in various musical and artistic projects. In the summer of 2008 the guys started working together and released their first album, 'Because We're Young'. This is seen as their first musical 'meeting' where the singer-songwriter past of Verstraeten (Simple Brain) and the punk / hardcore history of De Bock (Vogue) collided. They have deepened their collaboration, seeking for their own sound and vision, which resulted in their second full-length 'Wash The Dirt Off These Hands'. The band is obviously inspired by Tom Waits and can be compared with The Black Box Revelation and The Black Keys.
