Singer and instrumentalist Guy Connelly calls it chop pop. The music he makes with his band Clock Opera is a combination of electronics and a regular band. It is music that is associated with Steve Reich and Philip Glass as well as it is associated with Elbow. Someone wrote: "They sounded like The Move if they had come after Sparks, The Associates, 808 State, Yo La Tengo and Keudo." This chop pop brought the four Londoners to a lot of big festivals, while their debut album is yet to be released in 2012 on Moshi Moshi records.
