Their baffling debut EP Mire combines early Mastodon with Opeth at their heaviest and most dynamic, plus Gojira at their most venomous. For a young band Conjurer are remarkably versatile, attracting much attention with a 2019 collaboration EP with countrymen Pijn that carries a much lighter and positive tone. Stunning stuff.
