Daithí O Dronaí builds bridges between the music of his ancestors and the music of the future. The typical Irish folk sounds are represented in his music by the fiddle, an instrument that he combines with the modern sounds of electronic dance music. Live, he uses a loop station to bring these two worlds together. The combination of folk with house beats has already proven to be a golden one as he's scored a big hit with his single, Chameleon Life and played as a support for acts like DJ Shadow, Santigold, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, De La Soul and Todd Terje.
