De Underjordiske is a psychedelic rock band from Denmark. Although the vocals are Danish, an international breakthrough is far from unthinkable. Charismatic singer Peter Kure has a classic rock voice, and his lyrics are about universal themes such as love, spirituality and freedom. The guitar riffs by brothers Kristian and Andreas Bengtsen are dreamy and enchanting, which makes for an almost hypnotising effect. It is rock 'n' roll, it is psychedelic and it is very catchy. Their debut album 'Ind I Flammerne' has just been released and has been very well received.
