De Zweefclub makes ‘craft punk’: loud and sweet, tight and crafty. Founded in 2020 as a songwriters' quartet, they've grown into a seven-piece, and released their first EP in 2022, followed by debut album, Stomme Raket (‘Stupid Rocket’) in April 2025. Their music is characterized by unexpected twists, humor, new wave and punk influences, and a consistent undertone of subtlety and softness. As winners of the Mentos Grand Prize of the Netherlands, De Zweefclub can call themselves "the best new Dutch live act".
