There is no bass in this band from Budapest, but nobody misses it. They deliver raw, energetic garage rock and pop songs, convinced there is no life below 140 BPM. Hungarian band Dope Calypso consists of two guitarists, a drummer and a keyboard player, surely enough to rip your ears off your head. Oh did we mention they play half naked, and that new effort Mau Mau boasts song titles like Surf Nazis Must Die and Chaos Cat Sayonara? Well basically that's it.
