For Groningen's Rosan Vloedgraven, Fickle Ghost started out as a solo psychedelic folk-experiment. Named after a song by Psapp, Fickly Ghost takes inspiration from acts like Cocorosie, The Doors and Lisa Hannigan. She writes soft, dreamy songs that become more full-bodied when played with her live band. Arranged with cello, mandolin, accordion and shaman drums, the music is both enchanting and diverse. Vloedgraven not only writes and plays the songs, she also mixes and produces them and she even does the cover artwork. Her first release is in the making.
