Flammer Dance Band is made up of five members residing in Oslo and two from London. Second album Gynger came out in September 2024, drawing inspiration from the tropical rhythms of the 70s, the group delivers scorching, raw psychedelic funk with Norwegian lyrics. Recorded hot in Hausmania, Oslo, Flammer Dance Band captures their danceable, organic grooves live with all seven members in the studio. With roots in jazz, club DJing, hip hop production and dance, they’re forging a distinct sound that’s both soulful and gritty.
