Frenna broke through in 2014 as a member of rap formation Strictly Family Business (SFB). Ever since the rapper, who was born in The Hague, has been very successful as a solo artist as well. Frenna scored a raft of number 1 hits and his third solo album Francis went platinum in two weeks and got him the prestigious Edison Pop Award. He was also the big winner of the last FunX Music Awards. At the end of 2019 Frenna turned out to be the most streamed Dutch artist on Spotify with over 325 million plays.
