Golan is a three piece band based inn Bucharest, Romania. Alex, Mihai and Ernesto's different backgrounds from house, classic, jazz, and new R'N'B, combine in an unique blend of eclectic harmonies. Using live instruments such as trumpet, flute, drums, sampling and djing, the trio brings a much needed human touch to today's electronic music. Their music is melodic and dreamy while at the same time making you dance your shoes off. Formed in 2013, the group has had one of the quickest ascents in the Romanian electronic music scene. Winners of the Best Electro Award in 2014, given by Sunete, Romania's most important print music magazine, they became instant headliners all over their home country and playing all important festivals. In 2015, Golan released their first single Promises on German label Motor Music, hit the German Club charts top ten and were invited to play as opening acts for Roisin Murphy in Vienna, Berlin Fashion Week, and more.
