Grote Geelstaart is a Dutch progressive noise-rock band whose music is characterised by angular rhythms, a uniquely designed sound, and linear songwriting. They orchestrate their noise so it keeps amplifying itself, to the point of bursting. They haul a mountain of kit onto every stage, including two drum kits and a collection of pedals that would impress even a harsh-noise connoisseur. After two EPs and a cracking Noorderslag gig, summer festivals, their first European tour, and airplay on BBC 6 Radio followed.
