Born Henri Schamann, h3nce learned the rules early. By the time he released his debut EP ‘WRITE IT ON YOUR FLAGS’ in late 2025, the Berlin producer and multi-instrumentalist had spent over a decade exploring sound. Informed by internet culture, fashion, video games and the unbound energy of punk icons like the Sex Pistols and Fugazi, h3nce describes his sound as “hyper-rock”. Its high-drama scrim lets the 19-year-old explore how ideas of identity are mediated by an ever-changing world, playing out like an intimate diary set to an adrenaline rush.
