Hanakiv is a composer and piano player from Estonia (now based in London), who creates meditative piano-based ambient music with elements from classical and electronic music. Her debut album Goodbyes was released in March 2023 on Gondwana Records and draws on influences as diverse as Tim Hecker, Björk’s Vespertine, Arvo Pärt, Erkki-Sven Tüür and Aphex Twin. And her own cultural heritage, not to forget.
