Hang Youth moves between art project, angry tweet and a serious punk band. In 2020 the Amsterdam gang released two albums filled with ultrashort but radically furious hardcore pop punk crunchers that target rising prices, the tax department and giving your kidney to prevent another Rutte-led cabinet. Since capitalism hasn’t fallen yet, and Rutte is still in office, the band was left with no other option than to release third album HET K-WOORD (‘The K-word’) and start touring the Netherlands this winter.
