Headbirds is the alias of the Barcelona-born producer Dani Guijarro. He started out in music as part of C156, a cooperation of four up and coming Catalonian musicians. The freedom and open-mindedness he obtained from working with musicians from different backgrounds have heavily influenced Headbirds' sound. His first track Dead Kingdom gave him media exposure with XLR8R, Playground and Concepto Radio. His subsequent singles and EP's have received critical acclaim for his first class fusion of UK funky, bass and tropical sounds. His debut album is scheduled for release at the end of 2013.
