Before they formed HeavyLight in 2011, these four musicians used to play in bands that would often compete against each other in regional band competitions. After their respective bands split up, they decided put their talents together and before they knew it, they were dubbed 'The Dutch answer to Muse'. After their first single, Hey! Came out, people were comparing them to Kings Of Leon, Porcupine Tree and Pink Floyd as well. They have famous friends too as Coldplay, have put both their first single Hey! and their second single Any Moment Now on their site! Perhaps they'll ask HeavyLight to open for them in 2014? Once HeavyLight releases their debut album that is.
