Since the excellent fourth album Calais, this Belgian outfit infuse their songs with subtle electronics, plus string arrangements, while singing strictly in the West-Flemish (Belgian, Dutch) dialect. Singer Wannes Cappelle’s highly personal lyrics have also helped make Het Zesde Metaal one of Belgium’s leading (live) acts. With new album Skepsels recently released the band has now set its mind on making their mark in non-Dutch speaking territories.
