Melancholic but hopeful. With these words, the NL-based artist HETA (Heta Salkolahti) with Finnish roots not only describes her music but also portrays her deep internal landscape. The long and dark winters of her childhood filled with the anticipation of summer shape her musical identity. Her songs are both dreamy and sorrowful at their core, yet still hold a glimmer of hope. The primary focus in her solo music is on creating atmospheric musical landscapes inspired by neo-classical music and lo-fi electronics. Together with Jon Spruyt (synths, drum computer) they create an ethereal musical experience that is deeply intuitive and creates connection.
