Hailing from Montijo, just south of Lisbon, Hetta set out to take their sincere, harsh, and cathartic sound heard as widely as possible. As screamo, post-hardcore, and noise rock receded from prominence in Portugal, Hetta emerged as one of the main bands re-energizing those sounds with urgency, emotional weight, and persistence. With their debut album, ‘Acetate’, out, they are ready to bring their explosive blend of post-hardcore, screamo, sasscore and noise rock to Groningen.
