Hiigo is one of the leading lights of modern Dutch pop. The Zwolle-based band was formed in 2021 and named after the dog belonging to singer Hans’s ex. The group made their breakthrough in 2023 with the single ‘Tankstation’, which went down a treat on National Radio, after which they went on to perform at Serious Request and with Krezip and I.O.S.. Hiigo are now gearing up for their second album, due out on 30 October via LAB Music.
