With just a ukulele and his voice Stefan Honig can silence a crowd. So it's hard to imagine he was once part of a metal band, after which he went looking for a quiet place which he found in his own head. The German musician is a true craftsman in arranging stripped down songs, but whatever he does alone, he can also do with other musicians or even an entire orchestra. On his debut album Empty Orchestra he collaborated with a bunch of musicians and it paid off. He already won over the crowd at the Haldern Festival, Eurosonic is next.
