Hôy La kicked off with ‘Please’ in 2018, a smouldering and sultry, trip-hop saturated invitation into your dreams. From there, subsequent releases established Hôy La as an artist whose esoteric aesthetics could bring seemingly personal pain to the surface. Building on the EP ‘X Heads’, festival shows like Roskilde and a tour of Japan, Hôy La released the impressive album ‘There’s A Girl In My Brain Who Wants To Die’ in October.
