I Am Oak creates beautifully layered folk music is widely recognised as being among the best of a new generation of Dutch folk musicians. In the beginning, I Am Oak was mostly known for charming, subtle compositions. More recently, the band has proved able to produce whimsical and fiery musical outbursts. After a blast from the past in the form of a re-release of earlier work Ols Songd, I Am Oak is back with new album Our Blood, to be released this year.
