This French/Cuban musical duo consisting of twin sisters Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz, are daughters of the late Cuban percussionist Anga Diaz. Ibeyi have learned the Yoruba songs of their father's culture, and sing in this language and also in English. They have created a minimalist sound that merges elements of their heritage with their love of modern music, citing artists such as James Blake and King Krule amongst their broad range of influences
