No panic, Ja, Panik is in the house! This five piece is one of the most engaging musical outfits to come out of Austria in recent years. Having moved to Berlin Ja, Panik quickly made a name as one of the most interesting bands in town. Influenced by the Hamburger Schule Ja, Panik combines twisted indiepopmusic that constantly catches you off guard with absurd and humorous lyrics in both English and German. Their most recent album 'DMD KIU LIDT' (2011) opens with a schlagersong and is devoid of conventions and clichés. As singer Andreas Spechtl says: 'sorry for my bad English/but my German is even worse'.
