John Moods is the solo project of Jonathan Jarzyna from the experimental Berlin pop band Fenster. He released his first album The Essential John Moods, which he recorded on his cell phone while travelling, early in 2018 on the Mansions and Millions label. His songs are philosophical and melodic, playful and heartfelt, with subtle hints of humour in the arrangements, lyrics or the instrumentation. Reminiscent of songwriters of the past like Jim Croce, Carol King, The Roches, Glen Campbell or Townes Van Zandt.
