Justin Adams' earthy guitar conspires with Mauro Durante's taranta (Flamenco) spell to conjure a raw and emotive enchantment, a form of trance-inducing blues from the Mediterranean. Three years of worldwide touring have turned the original fusion project into a full-fledged and thoroughly remarkable unit. Drawing on Durante’s Taranta background, but with a palette that ranges from raw rockabilly to Sufi ecstasy via minimalism, their music explores themes of musical healing and catharsis. Sweet Release (October 2024) is their second album.
