Kingfishr are Eddie, Fitz and McGoo, a 3-piece who met at the University of Limerick, Ireland, where they started writing songs together and releasing their debut single 'flowers-fire' in May of 2022, the week before their final exams. They have since released a bunch of singles, two EPs and a Live From Dublin album to date. Citing U2, Hans Zimmer and Ben Howard as influences, the grand atmospheric nature of these artists can be found deeply woven into the DNA of the Limerick folk trio. Kingfishr is nominated for the Music Moves Europe Awards 2025.
