Knarsetand looks spectacular on paper, and that's simply because they are. What would you expect from a 10 piece collective that mixes drum n' bass, reggae, latin, balkan, dubstep, ska and pop? The band was formed two years ago by rapper, producer and poet Martijn Holtslag. He had a very clear image in mind of what this band would sound like: a musical rollercoaster with danceable tracks, heavy breaks, a thick bass, reggae licks and female vocals. Knarsetand first hit the stage in the beginning of 2013 and released their first single, My Escape in October.
