KOKOROKO (meaning 'be strong' in Urhobo) are a collective of musicians from London brought together by a love of Afrobeat and inspired by artists like Fela Kuti, Ebo Taylor and Tony Allen. Led by trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey, they specialise in a soul shaking, horn-fuelled sound with West African roots and Inner London hues. Their new EP is to be released in Spring 2019.
