Inspired by both traditional Afro Caribbean music from Curaçao and acts like Buraka Som Sistema, Major Lazer and M.I.A., Kuenta i Tambú have created a new and very danceable sound, and it's full of dancehall energy. Their secret is the clever balance between samples, singing and chanting, and the infectious rhythms played by ritual tambú drums. All well-captured on their hyper energetic 2017 album Rais, featuring Schlachthofbronx, Bert on Beats and Cookachoo.
