The first time British singer Lulu James sang and knew she wanted to be a singer, was at a party. In her search for a career in music she teamed up with producer and co-writer Domzilla. Together they write songs that are influenced by the post-dubstep of James Blake and the record that Jamie xx and Gil Scott-Heron made together. Her soulful yet raw voice adds a soul touch to the more electronic based songs, as her first EP, Rope Mirage proves. Last summer she played at various festivals, before crossing the Channel for a short European tour. Her debut album will be released in early 2014.
