The five Austrians are known for their vibrant, repetitive rhythms and drawn-out Sprechgesang build up to an almost psychedelic, krautrock pull, which draws on über-heroes like Sonic Youth, Pavement, or Les Savy Fav. The recently released Let The Light In is the third album of the Austrians. An album filled with, according to the Austrian press, music without pathos and cliche's but with a seldom in Austria heard nonchalance. M185 may make a turn in the middle of a song and go in a completely different direction. So it is difficult what to expect of the band, although we may promise that you will be surprised and overwhelmed.
