Marilu stepped out of a b&w movie, got bored in the real world, and decided to paint the town red. The artist formerly known as Malu survived two cardiac arrests in 2019, an experience that turned her post-arrest life into a second chance. That urge to start over pulses through music with pop at its core, glowing with disco shimmer and an edge that feels both nostalgic and thrillingly new. Based between Amsterdam and Paris, Marilu writes, records and produces her own songs. Her debut album will arrive in spring 2026.
