The 25-year-old is redefining what Latin rap can be today with her sound and DIY-aesthetic. Trilingual artist Mariposa taught herself how to make music and put out her first songs in 2021. She is at the forefront of a movement shifting the music landscape to be more fluid and inclusive, representing a generation that exists between cultures, languages, genres and multi-dimensional identities.
