This Amsterdam based soul singer constantly has to explain to people how to pronounce his name (May-D-en) but that's because more and more people are tuning into him. For years, Maydien didn't dare to perform live, due to stage fright. But he finally had to with the release of his EP, Listen Care Fully and ever since that evening, he loves performing. His music combines the best of jazz, soul, hip-hop and electro in a fresh hybrid style. He's played after shows for both Jay-Z and Frank Ocean and released various singles. His latest EP, Two Third has just been released; a full length is on its way.
