MEROL is Dutch singer and songwriter Merel Baldé, who broke through in 2018 with smash hit ‘Lekker Met De Meiden’ (‘Good With The Girls’). She makes Dutch pop with 80’s disco influences, flirting with Kylie Minogue, Donna Summer and Roísin Murphy. With ruthless and risqué lyrics she addresses taboos about body positivity, as well as sex and feminism, wrapped in sultry, catchy music. She signed to Universal Music, where her debut album will come out April 2022.
