MEROL is Dutch singer/songwriter Merel Baldé, who broke through in 2018 with the smash hit ‘Lekker Met De Meiden’ (‘Good With The Girls’). She makes Dutch pop with 80’s disco influences, flirting with Kylie Minogue, Donna Summer and Roísin Murphy. With ruthless and risqué lyrics she addresses taboos about body positivity, as well as sex and feminism, wrapped in sultry, catchy music. She is signed to Universal Music, and her debut album came out in April 2022.
