Feminism. Animal welfare. Chipper chips. You can say what you want, but M(h)aol is very clear about the influences that drive the music. The Dublin post-punk outfit has only one EP (‘Gender Studies’) and some singles to their name, but they sure mean business. And their message deserves to be heard. As London In Stereo puts it: “M(h)oal encapsulate more of the authentic, vital radicalism at the core of punk than many post-punk outfits, and they’re fully here to show the posers how it’s done right."
